10th Nepal Human Rights International Film Festival


Human Rights Film Centre is organising the 10th edition of Nepal Human Rights International Film Festival from December 18 to 21 in Nepal Tourism Board, Kathmandu.

This time the fest is being organised with the objective of promoting social justice and human rights.

The festival, which will be organised under the slogan of ‘Climate Change and Environmental Justice‘, will begin with the premiere of Shanta Nepali’s film ‘Climbing Temperatures on Top of the World’.

It will feature a total of 64 films from 25 different countries. Likewise, the festival will also have a master class by Indian screenwriter and documentary filmmaker Anirban Bhattacharya.

The festival will also award screened films with cash prizes in four categories. Likewise, one best female director will also be awarded at the festival.

Chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission Top Bahadur Magar will inaugurate the festival.
